Local CUPE 363 is proud to introduce your 2023 Executive! The Executive looks forward to continuing or stepping into their new roles throughout 2023 to serve and support our membership making it stronger. You have a talented and engaged Executive. The Communications Committee is happy to introduce:
President – Joel Martin
- Has worked as a Revelstoke City Worker since 2010.
- Currently works in the Public Works Department as a Carpenter
- Joel was the Vice President for 2022 and now the President for 2023
Vice President – Meghan MacIsaac
- Has worked as a Revelstoke City Worker since 2011.
- Currently works in the Parks, Recreation and Culture Department as a Recreation & Facility Program Coordinator
- Since 2022, Meghan has been a Shop Steward and part of the Communications Committee and is now part of the 2023 Executive as the Vice President.
Secretary Treasurer – Steve Olsen
- Has worked as a Revelstoke City Worker since 1995.
- Currently works in the Public Works Department as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Steve has continued to be the Local’s Secretary Treasurer since 2017.
Recording Secretary – Katy Mills
- Has worked as a Revelstoke City Worker since 2021.
- Currently works in the Parks Recreation & Culture Dept. as Administrative Receptionist.
- Since 2023 Katy is the newest addition to the local’s executive!
Chief Shop Steward – Richard Zimmer
- Has worked as a Revelstoke City Worker since 2021.
- Currently works in Public Works Department as a Road Maintenance Operator
Sergeant-at-Arms – Adam Hansen
- Currently works in the Public Works Department as a Utility Operator
- Has worked as a Revelstoke City Worker since 2009.
As we move into a collective bargaining year, you have the following team on the 2023 Labour Management and Bargaining Committee: Joel Martin, Meghan MacIsaac, Erica Hartling, Richard Zimmer, and alternate Cat Moffat
The 2023 Trustees include: Michelle Baechler, Cat Moffat, Bi-electon for one more position
This past year a Communications Committee was established to better reach our membership with information on meetings, events, job postings and important items such as bargaining will be communicated this year.
